Business of Race in Kinokuniya Malaysia, Largest Book Retailer
We’re Global
Margaret was browsing books in Kuala Lumpur while visiting a friend and saw The Business of Race on the shelves of Kinokuniya Malaysia. The retailer offers the largest range of books in Malaysia with over 300,000 titles in English, Japanese, Chinese and Malay language.
Books Kinokuniya (紀伊國屋書店, Kinokuniya Shoten) is a Japanese bookstore chain operated by Kinokuniya Company Ltd. (株式会社紀伊國屋書店, Kabushiki-gaisha Kinokuniya Shoten). It was founded in 1927, with its first store located in Shinjuku, Tokyo, Japan.
One of the company’s goals has been to cater to the interests of not only local Japanese clients, but to a wider, more diverse clientele. This is why its international bookstores have focused on supplying a wide range of both Japanese and English books. And why The Business of Race is on the shelf in Kinokuniya Malaysia.
McGraw-Hill, our publisher, distributes its English-language books to stores in countries where English may not be the native language but it is widely spoken. In addition to Malaysia, The Business of Race is distributed in:
And the United States.
